How to buy Ecomi (OMI) on BitForex
Ecomi has taken the world by storm with its amazing digital NFT collectibles platform! With the exciting new Veve app and licenses from over 100 brands, its innovative technology seems poised to reach a wide base of collectors.
However, because it’s only available on one exchange, it’s not that easy to buy Ecomi (OMI). Our guide will help!
Step 1: Create a BitForex account.
You will need to register for a BitForex account here: https://www.bitforex.com/en/register?inviterId=2533653 (use this link for a referral bonus).
Step 2: Deposit BTC or USDT to Bitforex.
Right now, the only way to buy OMI is to obtain USDT (or convert BTC to USDT on BitForex), since USDT-OMI is the only trading pair. If you are new to cryptocurrency, you could buy BTC on Coinbase or Paypal and send it to Bitforex as well.
Click on Deposit in the top left and choose which token you want to deposit (BTC or USDT). Copy the deposit address and send your BTC or USDT to your BitForex account. Be sure all information is correct.
Depositing BTC or USDT might take at least 30 minutes, so please be patient. Once funds have successfully arrived, move onto Step 3.
Step 3: Transfer funds from the Wallet to your Spot account.
Click on My Asset in the top left corner and then in the Wallet section, click Transfer. Select From Wallet to Spot Account. Choose an amount and then press the Transfer button.
Step 4: Make sure you have USDT.
Next, click on Spot in the top left menu. If you are using BTC, you will need to obtain USDT. Choose USDT-BTC and purchase some USDT. If you already have USDT, skip this step.
Step 5: Once you have USDT in your account, buy OMI!
In the top left corner, choose USDT-OMI market pair. NOTE: Make sure you buy OMI — Do NOT buy ECOM, which is a different project. Choose a target price of your choice on the right side, and then buy OMI!
Congratulations! You have OMI!
